Years ago in his calligraphy class, Hermann Zapf was asked by a student how she might deal with her hesitation when faced with a blank sheet of paper.

"Ah!" Said the esteemed  Professor, "A little Bergstrasse." "I have not seen it here in this country, but you do have Resling."

Bring your favorite pen, paper, & ink. samples of your work, too, if you like. We will also have a good variety of pens, paper, & inks you'll want to sample.

We are just going to play at making letterforms & writing-out words. We gather to make skill-learning fun. Comes with one glass of bottled wine, crackers & cheese, a 10% discount coupon to The Pen Place in Crown Center, and the good company of people who appreciate fine lettering.

This class does not require special instruction of printmaking equipment.

No press equipment will be permitted to be used under the influence.

Masks not required.
