Beginner bookbinding 2: The Buttonhole Book! One day Workshop: Friday March 21, 6-9 pm
Do you love books? Are you a dedicated journaler/diarist, or obsessive sketcher? You can learn to make unique handmade books! to use yourself!
During this 3 hour 1 day workshop you will learn a very handsome, quick and simple way to bind your own personal sketchbook or journal: The Button hole binding!
The Buttonhole book making technique requires glue or special tools, just artist paper, a heavy grade cover paper, and needle and thread. Plus: what cute name!
You will receive hands on education as the instructor Thayer Bray will take you step by step through sewing and binding these journals or sketchbooks, for gifts or your own use!.
At the end of the class you will have two or more handmade books that you bound yourself!
This Workshop is $55+$15 lab fee. Lab fees pay for tools and materials.

* This is an intro/ intermediary class.
*This class requires moderate hand strength and a dexterity.
*Masks optional
*Children 12-16 must be accompanied by parent or legal guardian. Children 12-17 admission are half price with full price adult admission.
*Passes MUST be purchased prior to the start of class.
