Fancy Handmade Books for Artists 1: The Concertina Binding! One day Workshop: Friday June 20, 6-9 pm

This unique binding is a deceptively simple, beautiful way to construct handmade books that really make a statement!

During this 3 hour 1 evening workshop you will learn the very handsome, and statement making Concertina binding style.

This Binding type will involve hard covers and unique profiles and closures!

You will receive hands on education as the instructor Thayer Bray will take you step by step through sewing and binding these journals or sketchbooks, for gifts or your own use!

At the end of the class you will have one (or more!) handmade book that you bound yourself!

This Workshop is $50+$15 lab fee. Lab fees pay for tools and materials.

* This is an intro/ intermediary class.

*This class requires moderate hand strength and a dexterity.

*Masks optional

*Children 12-16 must be accompanied by parent or legal guardian. Children 12-17 admission are half price with full price adult admission.

*Passes MUST be purchased prior to the start of class.
